Lior Chefetz is an award-winning writer/director whose films have screened in various film festivals around the world. Most recently his film The Godmother has won multiple awards in festivals, including "Best Director" Award in Shanghai International Film Festival, Methodfest, NYC Soho International, FirstGlance, Denver Festivus and First Look.

After earning a degree in graphic design and visual effects from Bezalel Academy of Arts & Design in Jerusalem, Lior proceeded to earn an MFA in directing and cinematography from University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts.

While at USC, Lior was a finalist in the Coca-Cola Refreshing Filmmaker's Competition with his project "Presto!". He earned the Charles Lang Award and Thomas Bush Award for excellence in Cinematography, a Phi Beta Kappa scholarship for academic excellence, and the Avid Academic Scholarship. He was awarded the Lerner Award, along with Fotokem, Panavision, and Kodak grants for his thesis film.
