The basic idea was to turn Darth Vader into a typical Israeli driver, kind of white trash – what we call in Hebrew "Ars". One that leaves the car in the middle of the street with the keys inside and go just for a moment to buy cigarettes. My little brother was in the role of Darth and the thief, my little sister was the shopkeeper. My friend Or Gottlieb brought the helmet, the locations and wrote the script with me. My mother made the cape.

The ship lands in the middle of the super trendy fashion "Shenkin" street, right in the heart of Tel-Aviv. We were lucky to get all the colorful people in the street, among them you can see the famous singer Aviv Geffen from Blackfield.

The shooting took couple of hours. Two more weeks were needed to model the spaceship in the 3d software XSI, and to get the special effects and compositing done in the Combustion software.

The film was nominee in Hamburg Short Film Festival 2004 and official selection in Zvegwerk International Film Festival 2004.
